I shall give you one guess to what I have right now.
If you guessed a sore throat you are terribly right. Accompanied with pain in my ears, stuffy head, aching body, trouble talking, swallowing (except food) and so on. This is why I have decided to google and provide you with a list of things you can try as well! I have only include what I, and probably most others, have available at home.
- Most Important! Get plenty of rest!
- Gargle with warm saltwater. Add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon salt to a cup of warm water and gargle every three to four hours.
- Drink Lemon-Honey. One tablespoon of lemon with one tablespoon honey and 1 cup warm water.
- Drink Lemon. Equal amounts of lemon and warm water.
- Drink Tea.
- Steam it out. Fill your sink or a bowl with steaming hot water, place your face above it and put a towel over your head or take steamy showers.
- Steam it out 2. Add a bowl of steam in your room while you are resting.
- Drink lots of Water.
- Take Vitamin C.
- Eat Soup. Its warm, easy to eat and help you get hydrated.
Hope you found some interesting tips here! Remember the most important thing is to rest and get plenty of sleep.
You might also want to have a little bit of fresh air. Open the window to your room if possible for a couple of minutes a couple of times a day and try stepping outside in the fresh air.

Very useful tips. I hate sore throats. I always forget to gargle with salt water until I find myself in extreme pain. Haha. This list is handy.
Hello from the #ThrowbackThursday linkup, as well. 🙂
