As long as I can remember I have been a dreamer – literally. I wish I dreamt about puppies, and rainbows and cupcakes, but that is far from it. This category probably covers about 2% of my dreams. Usually they are quite bad.
This morning I woke up at about 4-4.30. I dreamt that my back and forearms were burned. I have no idea how, but it hurt. It was like a U-shape on my back with redness around it and just a little bit of normal skin in the middle. No one took me seriously. I tried showering and putting on some cream, but one of the other people there just laughed at me.
I finally fell asleep again, only to be woken up at 7.20 (20 mins before my alarm) by another dream. I dreamt that we had to complete some like coded tasks. They were really difficult I had no idea what it meant. There was another group who did really well. They got a huge house to protect themselves. My group got a small box-like thing that was 75 cm wide, 1.5 meters long and probably one meter tall. The two other people on my group disappeared – I guess they were going to find somewhere else to be safe. I was looking at the big house and saw they had trapped an orange spider on the outside of one of the walls. I removed some of the plastic so it could get away on its own. That is when the whatever-natural-disaster-we-needed-the-house-for came and I woke up.
So yes, this was my night last night. Actually, no it was not – I had one more dream, but I do not remember it.
My usual dream “themes” include:
- Someone trying to chace me – I run and try to hide but they always find me (comes in like a billion different versions)
- I am trying to get home, but I have no idea how to get back because I am really really lost
Its 5.47 pm and I am super tired because I have woken up too many times the last couple of days. I started this post in the morning before work and just finishing it now so I can have something to post in 15 minutes. I don’t really remember why I wanted to write this post, but at 4-4.30 and this morning it seamed like a good idea.
But anyways, I am 23 years old and I have never really grown out of the bad dreams/nightmare phase. At times its extremely exhausting!
What are your tips for a good nights sleep?
I would love if you left me a comment :)
