So after I made those cupcakes I really wanted to make a drink version as well because they are so super delicious! I made two versions, one shaken and one stirred. Next time I am going to try to make one pureed with simple syrup. Just remember to use ripe fruit – mine was a bit too hard so I did not get all the juices out.
Ingredients:
- ½ peach, cubed
- ¼ lime
- a handful of mint leaves
- 1 ½ tsp sugar
- 1-2 oz rum (depending on how strong you want it)
- sparkling water
- ice
Stirred:
- Add the peach, lime and mint leaves to a glass.
- Get a wooden spoon and squeeze out the juices.
- Add ice, rum and fill it up with sparkling water
- Add some sugar if needed and stir
- Serve with peach or lime wedge
Shaken:
- In a shaker add peach, lime, mint leaves, rum and ice
- Shake it like a crazy person, and as a good bartender – remember to smile!
- Strain it over a glass filled with ice and fill it up with sparking water
- Serve with peach or lime wedge
One Stirred & One Shaken
